Dr. Wenhuai Li

Associate Professor in Grassland Ecology

I am a plant community ecologist who specializes in examining the impacts of grazing on biodiversity and ecosystem functions in typical grasslands of Inner Mongolia. My research aims to uncover the mechanisms maintaining plant diversity under grazing and climate change by studying various aspects such as plant functional traits, species composition, and community structure. Additionally, my recent work focuses on the effects of grazing animal behavior on plant diversity. I primarily conduct these studies using manipulative field experiments.
